Video walls, touch interfaces, laser engraving and palm identification for every store in Canada and the United States.

For several years, we have been developing and managing the digital setup of every Vuse store in Canada and the United States: video walls, touch tablets and digital signage.

Touch interfaces are synchronised with the video wall: a customer explores a flavour on the tablet, the wall responds. The Vuse Pass programme identifies customers by palm reading, for loyalty and age verification. The Creative Lab lets customers personalise their device with laser engraving from an iPad, in stores as well as on stand-alone kiosks at festivals. These activations also toured the United Kingdom, Germany, South Africa and Dubai.

Everything runs on the Samsung MagicInfo ecosystem, orchestrated by a Raspberry Pi. When the palm reader turned out to be incompatible with the tablets already in place, we proposed a plan B: the Raspberry Pi handles all the readers and the tablets switch to passive mode. Simple, functional, deployed quickly.
